Wondering how to maximize your time at SKBC?

Sword Knight Boot Camp offers 40 classes with over 30 different instructors—some of whom you may not know yet. Picking classes can feel daunting, especially when spots start filling quickly. When it comes to choosing, there are a few things to keep in mind to help you get the most out of your weekend.

  • Determine your fighting goals: Whether you're chasing Warlord, building your fundamentals, or becoming the best specialist in your chosen field, take time to reflect. Be honest with yourself about where your gaps are—and what kind of instruction will help close them.
  • Seek advice from trusted mentors: Talk with your knight or mentor, top fighters in your area, or friends who know your game. They can help break down class content, offer suggestions based on experience, and guide you toward instructors that match your learning style.
  • Consider your strengths and weaknesses: Take stock of your preferred styles and the areas where you struggle. Use SKBC as an opportunity to stretch—pair a few challenging classes with subjects you're already confident in for a balanced learning experience.
  • Create a balanced schedule: Once you've scoped out the options, build a plan that mixes new skills with personal interests. Pay attention to class times, instructors, and when you might be able to connect with them outside of class for follow-ups.

The most important thing? Stay flexible. SKBC is more than just a class list—it’s a chance to learn from fighters across the country, expand your perspective, and grow your game. Keep your mind open, ask questions, and be ready to level up.
